Pavel Dmitriev obtained his Bachelor’s degree in physics at the Saint Petersburg State University in 2017. Moving to the ITMO University, he changed his field of studies of the nonlinear optics and laser dynamics successfully receiving a Master’s degree in laser technology by defending a thesis “Bursting phenomena in a Hybrid Photonic Crystal Laser” in 2019. He started his PhD studies in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Morandotti on reservoir computing techniques using a semiconductor laser.
